My name is Jeanine, and I’m a Data Engineer based in France.
I can safely say that I have been writing for more than 10 years now. After two unsuccessful attempts at maintaining a Wordpress blog (I must admit, Wordpress is a pain!), I have decided to resurrect some of my favorite posts under a new handle, owlsandcacti 🦉🌵, powered by the very elegant Hugo.
The purpose of this blog? To write about the things I find beautiful in this world!
It is my resolution to dedicate more time to writing: writing helps me materialize my most cherished memories. Writing helps me illustrate some of the most beautiful sceneries I have photographed. Writing helps me rediscover my favorite books and works of art. Writing will always be a part of who I am.
And this blog shall become a extension of my memory, for as long as the World Wide Web lives.
